KUALA LUMPUR, 9 September 2015- Airestec Sdn. Bhd. Managing Director, William Rodney Yeo, exchanged MoU with GreenTech Malaysia Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Ahmad Hadri Haris during IGEM 2015, held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia. This ceremony was witnessed by Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water, Senior Under Secretary (Green Technology Sector), Rogayah Kadari.

Greentech Malaysia would be the marketing arm for Airestec to promote the adoption of Airestec bio-based and green product cleaning product in Malaysia

Airestec won the Halal High Tech Challenge in High Impact Programme 2 (HIP 2) and was offered grant to do research & development in isolation and study of local strain Halal enzyme.

HIP 2 is a programme designed for Malaysian SMEs to help them seamlessly move their innovations along the complex stages of the commercialization process. It is about "Innovating a Better Future Together".

The Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP) Malaysia is a competition-based approach to identify and nurture Malaysian technopreneurs in clean technologies. Through the programme, mentors will be assigned to the selected entrepreneurs to help them address business and technology gaps, build the entrepreneurs' capacity within the scope of the competition

In 2016, Airestec was awarded the Enterprise 50 (E50) award. The Enterprise 50 (E50) is a prestigious award programme that recognizes the achievements of Malaysia's enterprising small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which are well positioned for the future. A total of 50 winners are selected based on their financial capabilities, operations, and management competencies. 

The Brandlaureate Awards recognize world-class achievement in branding amongst individuals and companies. The Brandlaureate SME Bestbrand award is the prestigious awards conferred to outstanding and qualified SMEs which consistently excel in business performance in particular field. Airestec is awarded under category of corporate branding.
